I think it's cute- someone mentioned their dogs thinking the dolls are real. My Rottie gets a bit worried when the dolls are put out on the coffee table or something where he can really see them. He acts like he doesn't quite know if they're little people, or not. He stares at them, wanders around them, sniffs and whines. Then looks at me with questioning eyes. It's pretty funny, but I keep them out of reach because I really think he doesn't like how they are so still and stare at him! Funny, our other dog totally ignores them. She probably thinks our Rottie is nuts. And the cat knows most definitely they are just toys- she'll kick them out of bed and steal their spot if they're not put up off the floor!

I am not sure but I think Kaitlin thinks they are small children. She will often talk to them. She bangs on the glass and talks to the ones that are in the curio. I think she is saying, come on out and play with me. Join me and your other sisters upstairs.

Yep, mine talk in my head, but I pour my heart out to them. I would go up to Sam and Nellie like a week before christmas and say '3 more days until the sleigh!' and i apoligized to nellie for nellie not having a coat.

Okay, here's the complexity of my doll talking:

Katelyn (agt13): Shes my twin doll lol. So she shares my voice.
Charlotte (agt12): Her voice is a little higher and girlish than Katy's.
Emily Ann (bitty baby, brown hair): Errm.. she kinda doesnt talk

And i really havent thought about my historicals. I dont really "play" with them as much as I do my agts. I guess its because Katelyn was my first doll and I am partial to AGT. But I do tend to talk aloud, even though I dont mean to. Im tempted to put on a recorder and see what I get out of it, lol. I might end up being able to write a book based on my little doll roleplays. LOL!
